As Neuland Ambassador® I recommend ...

I discovered my passion for visualization when during a meetup a friend introduced me to the magical world of Visual Thinking and how it could transform a good session into a greatly engaging one.

I had used visualization techniques for ages. As a teenager I used to write my homework mixing mathematical & geometrical symbols with natural language to invent a new language that was reminiscent of ancient hieroglyphs. During my early years as a software developer I found myself constantly gravitating toward modeling languages to simplify the understanding of otherwise complex concepts and to make the invisible tangible.

I was an atypical developer who loved whiteboards much more than keyboards.

I used to do that instinctively and without guidance and so when I discovered the enormous body of literature on visualization techniques I avidly started studying them. And immediately after learning the foundational pillars I started experimenting with how I could leverage in my profession of Collaboration Alchemist that new hugely powerful body.

Now I comfortably jump from one media to another and bring in visual components in every aspect of my work: during an impromptu discussion I can use a document camera to help explore options before making a decision; I can then load a digital whiteboard to discuss a roadmap with the same team before having an online 1:1 coaching session with 1 of them where I could share my screen on my iPad and start a live graphic recording of our conversation.

But what's by far my favorite visualization technique remains to draw flipcharts to inspire conversations during in-person interactive workshops.

There I feel I can fully express my creativity and put it in service of my facilitation design skills to come up with the most impactful and playful sessions my mind can conceive.

That's also where Neuland products unlocks for me the door of sublime creative pleasure.

The polished and friendly design of Neuland markers make me want to grab them. The quality of their tips make my traits much more precise and satisfying. My lines pops like if they had been printed by a machine. The colors Neuland offers gives me all the palette options that I need and nothing more, providing a helpful perimeter that unleash creativity instead of limiting it.

Drawing on Neuland paper is just a different experience than drawing on any other paper. The paper is both soft and resistant. The sheets remain smooth even after a pad has been used, avoiding that effect of crackled paper that most cheap flipcharts pads have the first time that you remove the first 2-3 sheets.

My flipchart stand has become my best friend during covid, allowing me to create removable walls and transform the only room I had available from living room, to recording studio to classroom depending on the needs of the moment and the background I chose to satisfy them.
